Separation of Church & State

Separation of church from state is NOT in the constitution....

The 1st Amendment directs the state cannot force you to practice a religion or prohibit you from practicing freely.
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances." (http://www.law.cornell.edu/constitution/first_amendment)

This country was founded on Christianity & biblical principals:

President John Quincy Adams directly addresses the Ten Commandments -
"The law given from Sinai was a civil and municipal code as well as a moral and religious code. These are laws essential to the existence of men in society and most of which have been enacted by every Nation which ever professed any code of laws. Vain indeed would be the search among the writings of secular history to find so broad, so complete and so solid a basis of morality as the Ten Commandments lay down."

Rep. Aderholt's successful
"Ten Commandments" amendment, to H.R. 1501, the "Consequences for Juvenile Offenders Act of 1999, cites statements by the Framers' who believed it was the government's duty to encouraging religion, and in doing so it was "clearly not an unconstitutional establishment of religion."

#WEAreTrayvonMartin

#WEAreTrayvonMartin

This is a tragedy that cannot be reversed.
We have lost one of nearly 12,000 (4,651 were ages 15-24) who were shot in 2010; (According to the CDC) In comparison to almost 40,000 (4,559 were 15-24) who committed suicide.

We can always look at statistics to make observations or conclusions about an issue but there is one thing we do not know and will never know... The FULL truth. What really happened? I'll try to keep this as short as possible while including the information required to gain perspective into this historic moment of our generation.

CDC deaths in 2010 for ages 15-24.
… All causes 29,504
1st  --  Accidents (unintentional injuries) 12,015

… Motor vehicle accidents 7,209
… All other accidents 4,806

2nd  --  Assault (homicide) 4,651
3rd  --  Intentional self harm (suicide) 4,559

"The hoodie did not aid in the death of Trayvon. It was the color of his skin. Not going to buy a hoodie and claim to be someone else. I will make my stand as myself, a young black male refusing to live and raise my future children in a society that still judges them by the color of their skin but by their integrity and moral character. This is a racial fight, I don't understand why we are jumping on the bandwagon with this whole hoodie issue. Let's focus at the real matters at hand. This is my opinion and my constitutional right, to freedom of speech. " ~Dasma Williams of Sarasota, FL

"On February 26, our son Trayvon Martin was shot and killed as he walked to a family member’s home from a convenience store where he had just bought some candy. He was only 17 years-old."

LET US NOT LOOSE SIGHT OF THE ISSUE AT HAND!!

How easy is it to let a story run out of control? Obviously it is not difficult at all. The liberal left and the conservative right have both made wild statements filled with ignorance. We are allowing ourselves to be affected by the media who manipulates the general population for their own gains. Will we ever know the whole story? "Facts" will be weighed, various sides & perspectives will be recorded, but we NEVER get the full truth. Only God knows what really happened.

"The law is 'innocent until proven guilty.' The media is not judge or jury." ~Anonymous

Who are we to judge when we do not have all of the information?!

Let's Do Our Research

Copied from Facebook Post:
February 25

"Texas sheriffs will soon start charging jailed inmates for their basic healthcare costs.

WHAT DO YOU THINK: Should criminals behind bars be required to pay a co-pay before receiving medical treatment?"

Logical Truth RESPONSE
"Let's Do Our Research"

I'm going to make a CLEAR statement... Let's do our research.

The problem is when the DA's have +95% conviction rates while police are increasingly guilty of making arrests without probable cause. Abuse of power is out of control. Judges, community officials, elected public leaders are seen in scandals far too often.

When corruption is obvious, in the open, reported on multiple outlets, and can easily be located with a few moments of research we have the obligation to make a moral stand against a system that will COERCE CITIZENS TO TAKE A PLEA against charges or allegations that seldom have evidence other than the false report itself.

Do your research friends. We have an obligation to PAY ATTENTION to corruption in our culture and communities, taking action to ring the bell informing our family, children, and neighbors of the issues and agendas that stand to oppress and manipulate a distracted public.

The issue of free healthcare and education for those in our prison system has been questioned. That should be addressed but the issue is a bit more complicated - a bit deeper. With the reported statistics of falsely accused, convicted, and incarcerated, the issue is depriving those innocent individuals their rights.

Again, LET'S DO THE RESEARCH. How many cases have been overturned, after 5 years, 10 years, 18 years+ of being incarcerated. So then how can their access to basic medical services be denied?

Of course this does not apply to those who have indeed committed offenses;

However putting an additional financial burden on the falsely accused and their families is criminal in itself. Loss of wages, fees, taxes, surcharges, fines - where does it end? How can we be blind to a system driven by greedy pockets?

ALL THIS while Sheriff's, Deputies, Constables, and other city officials are constantly being given preferential treatment as they ignore, disobey, and pervert the very justice system we trust them to uphold.

The Great Election of 2012: Part I

The Great Election of 2012

Part I:
This will be the first of many entries concentrated around the United States of America, Presidential election of 2012. A bit unorganized, this short note is based on a Facebook status I posted. The goal will be to highlight factors involved in this election. Do the Research ... Consider all the factors when making a decision whether or not to vote in this coming election. Make a difference - Voice your concerns.

1) We should vote in record numbers!
According to American History (About.com), there have been four presidents elected by the electoral college who lost the popular vote.

  • John Quincy Adams who lost by 44,804 votes to Andrew Jackson in 1824
  • Rutherford B. Hayes who lost by 264,292 votes to Samuel J. Tilden in 1876
  • Benjamin Harrison who lost by 95,713 votes toGrover Cleveland in 1888
  • George W. Bush who lost by 543,816 votes to Al Gore in the 2000 election.

  • YES elections are won ignoring the popular vote BUT we still have to vote to voice our protests of illegal activities carried out by the Federal Reserve and the United States government!

    2) We have an OBLIGATION!
To ourselves, our families, and our children - We must let it be known that a bipartisan, two-party system that services the world banks, secret societies, or the United Nations will not be tolerated!

    DISCLAIMER:::

I do not endorse the author of a video, link, etc. unless specifically stated. I will use them from time to time as a point of reference to add layers of perspective to the main idea of my post.
(In some of my blog entries I will teach a little more, with references, etc. Much of the time I will provide direct links to official sites, or scriptures from the Bible. Sometimes I might use YouTube Video's .... )

    3) We all need to vote, but question is...will you be deceived into choosing a liar who says one thing and does another?

Now listen. I know you see Obama and have your judgments about me, or about him. You're missing the point. He is an example of many others. (period) - This is NOT an Anti-Obama message, but rather a message to encourage the public to utilize critical thinking before making decisions or judgments.

    Part I Summary Conclusion:

Blessed are those who are awake. We are called into participation not observation. We as a people have been seeking freedom from oppression as far back as history has been recorded. The complex issues we are currently facing are unknown to much of the population. Ignorance of the amount of deception is one of the factors allowing our liberty to be threatened, but to understand this you need to start by paying attention to the world outside of celebrities, music, and reality TV.
